The Anatolian Shepherd dog is known for its loyalty, calmness, and intelligence. The Anatolian Shepherd is confident and alert and makes an excellent companion dog. They demonstrate a possessive attitude toward family, livestock, and property. They are a large and sturdy breed weighing between 90 and 150 pounds with an average lifespan is 11-13 years. In their native country of Turkey they have been guardian dogs of flocks of sheep for thousands of years.
A new litter of 11 (by Hazir (above left) and Zira (above right) was born March 13, 1999. They make great family companions or livestock guardians. Our dogs have outstanding conformation and dispositions. We socialize our puppies daily. Two males are still available. They are outstanding dogs and have basic obedience training.
